Our founder
Hi, I am Chris, owner of Just Add Water. Bringing water to people's yards has always been a passion of mine. Growing up around water in Michigan, I wanted that same feeling when I moved to Iowa. I had a vision for my own yard and I stopped at nothing to make it real. That first water feature became a challenge and a rush I will never forget, and from there it grew into the business you see today. Over the years I have assembled an outstanding team that shares the same standard for the work.

We are here to enrich the lives of our customers and our team through a positive, fun experience, completing landscapes with beautiful natural ponds, waterfalls, and fountains while providing knowledgeable, superior customer service.

Credentials
Just Add Water has been a Certified Aquascape Contractor since 2006, and today we are the only Master Certified Aquascape Contractor in Central Iowa. For you, that means the most qualified and best-trained pond builders in the region are the ones standing in your backyard. We attend ongoing training every year so your water feature is built on current best practices, not shortcuts.
Leadership
Founder and Owner
Chris founded Just Add Water in 2004 and has spent over 20 years designing, building, and owning water features. In 2006 he became a Certified Aquascape Contractor, and he is now the only Master Certified Aquascape Contractor in Central Iowa. Today he focuses on design, business, and working directly with clients to bring their vision to life.
Lead Foreman
Will is our lead foreman. He pairs a background in horticulture and landscape design with over 8 years working alongside Chris at Just Add Water. Will leads the crew in the field and brings knowledge and craftsmanship to every build.
